With some help from high-flying Clippers All-Star Blake Griffin, Jordan Brand introduces the Jordan Super.Fly 3 today, which is set to hit retail in two launch colorways on October 1, with a retail price of $140.
The Super.Fly 3 features the next evolution in FlightPlate technology to provide enough power for Blake to attack the rim and enough comfort to land smoothly afterwards. The upper is inspired by a “sonic boom,” hence the vibrant pattern—with some hints of inspiration from the AJ XX9 in there, too. There’s a Nike Zoom unit in the forefront, plus the Flight Web fit system, which locks down the foot for added support, and an inner sock-like sleeve for overall comfort.
“For the Jordan Super.Fly 3, I really wanted a shoe that allowed me to gain an explosive edge on court—with speed and my lift,” Griffin says of the sneaker, via Jordan press release. “I really like that Flight Plate not only makes me feel more powerful throughout the game, but also gives me confidence when I’m taking flight.”
